This is a recording taken shortly after my contact with Bill WH6DQ in Volcano, Hawaii on 146.52 simplex. He was on the AA6DP repeater on Catalina Island on 147.090 (+); the recording was made on the 147.690 input. Distance is about 2500 miles. His elevation was only 3500 ft.
